1. Policy Related to the Protection of Personal Information: Japan Superconductor Technology, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") recognizes that proper protection of personal information provided to our Company by all persons, including clients, (hereinafter referred to as "you") is an important responsibility, and will handle personal information in accordance with the following guidelines in order to fulfill this responsibility.

(1)	The Company will appropriately manage personal information according to generally accepted practices concerning the handling of personal information as well as in accordance with the law related to the protection of private information (Privacy Law) and other relevant laws and ordinances.

(2)	The Company will define provisions for the management of personal information and ensure that all employees are made familiar with these provisions. In addition, the Company will implement necessary and appropriate measures in order to supervise its subcontractors.

(3)	Before using personal information, the Company will specify the manner in which it is to be used and notify you of or publicly announce the details of the manner in which it is to be used

(4)	The Company will implement the necessary measures to maintain personal information appropriately in order to prevent leakages, losses, or alterations, etc.

(5)	The Company will respond with sincerity regarding requests received through specified contacts for the disclosure, correction, deletion, and discontinuation of the use of personal information held by the Company.

2. Purpose of Use of Personal Information: The Company may use personal information collected through appropriate means in accordance with laws and ordinances to the extent necessary in operating the business of the Company for the following purposes:

(1)	Provision and introduction of products and services.

(2)	Development of products and services.

(3)	Purchasing of raw materials, goods and services.

(4)	In order to respond to inquiries from you.

3. Disclosure and Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties: The Company will not provide personal information to any third party, with the exceptions of subcontractors and under any of the following circumstances:

(1)	With your consent.

(2)	When disclosing or providing data such as statistical data in such a form that individuals cannot be identified.

(3)	When disclosure or provision is required in accordance with laws or ordinances.

(4)	As deemed necessary for the protection of human life, the prevention of bodily injury, or the prevention of damage to property, and when your consent cannot be readily obtained.

(5)	As required to cooperate with the national and/or any local government in the implementation of public activities, and obtaining your consent may interfere with the implementation of these activities.

(6)	When using personal data jointly with specific parties and notifying you in advance or making a public announcement regarding the information that is to be used jointly, the details of joint users, and the persons responsible for managing the purposes of use.

4. Disclosure: The Company will, at your request, make corrections, additions, or deletions related to any error in your personal information possessed by the Company within a reasonable period of time and to a reasonable extent after confirming your identity.

5. Corrections and Deletions, etc.: We are the exception not specifically required by law or personal information to third parties without the permission of the person. When you provide personal information to third parties, in accordance with relevant laws and other applicable laws, will be collected and the purposes.

6. Discontinuation of use and Deletions: The Company will, at your request, discontinue the use of or delete your personal information in the possession of the Company within a reasonable period of time and to a reasonable extent after confirming your identity. Please be aware that the discontinuation of use or deletion of part or all of such information may prevent the Company from providing you with satisfactory service.
