Superconducting magnets are advanced systems capable of generating powerful and highly stable magnetic fields, playing an increasingly important role in material development and advanced manufacturing processes. In high magnetic field environments of several tesla or more, it becomes possible to control the microstructure and crystal orientation of metals, semiconductors, ceramics, and composite materials, enabling their intrinsic properties to be fully realized.
Magnetic field-assisted materials processing can achieve crystal orientation control, microstructure homogenization, and optimization of impurity distribution, resulting in improved mechanical strength, heat resistance, electrical conductivity, and magnetic performance.
